Integrated Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was founded in 2012 with a goal of providing the best physical therapy in the Des Moines Metro area. The name, "Integrated" came from the current founder and owner, Tate Van Houten. His goal was to combine and integrate a wide variety of evidence-based treatments, modalities, and approaches to help many physical ailments and dysfunction. Our skilled providers are all well versed in multiple treatment techniques, including, IASTM, Dry Needling, Kinesiotape (KT) Tape, Cupping, and more! 
 

We offer full service outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine services at all three of our locations: Des Moines (Downtown), South, and Ankeny. As the only Postural Restoration Clinic in the metro area, we emphasize evaluation and treatment of postural patterns and functional imbalances.
